8K Expeditions Provide Rs 2 Million To Makalu Rural Municipality For Ambulance Services 2024

Eight K Expeditions Pvt Ltd. contributes 1.5 percent of its earnings to corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. This year 2024, we are pleased to provide financial support to the Makalu Rural Municipality in Sankhuwasabha for ambulance services in a remote area of the district.

We recently handed over a donation cheque to the Primary Health Center Num, located in the rural region of Makalu, Nepal. The cheque was received by Mr. Ongdi Sherpa, Chairman of Makalu Gaupalika, on behalf of the health center on 21st April 2024 at 8K Expedition head office in Kathmandu by our two founders Mr. Pemba Sherpa & Mr. Lakpa Thendu Sherpa. 

We firmly believe this ambulance will significantly enhance healthcare services and save lives in Nepal's rural regions, where accessing medical treatment often requires hours of travel. Equipped with essential medical instruments for emergency care, this ambulance marks a crucial step forward in improving local healthcare.
